The search is officially on for the West Country’s most inspiring women! Following a successful launch on International Women’s Day in Plymouth, the West Country Women Awards is now inviting nominations to celebrate the resilience, leadership, and community spirit of women and girls across Devon, Cornwall, and Somerset.
Unlike traditional corporate awards, this initiative is community-driven. It aims to shine a spotlight on those who often fly under the radar—from grassroots organisers and entrepreneurs starting new chapters to those quietly making a positive impact in their local circles.
Why Nominate? Recognition is a powerful tool for change. Being nominated or shortlisted can open new doors, build vital confidence, and provide credibility for women working in the voluntary and community sectors. It is about turning visibility into tangible social impact and connecting change-makers across the South West.
